Dr Dorota Piechowicz

Dr Dorota Piechowicz earned her dentistry degree at the Medical University of Gdansk.

She has twenty years of professional experience, gained both in Poland and in the United Kingdom. For many years she was a member of a multi-specialist dentistry team, thanks to which she has a holistic approach to both young and adult patients. Moreover, she obtained a title of a specialist in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and is a member of the Polish Endodontics Society.

During her stay in the UK, for many years she worked for the NHS, where she improved her qualifications by participating in professional courses in accordance with the requirements of British healthcare. In her work in the British dentistry sector, both public and private, she focused mainly on working with difficult and stressed out patients.

Her favourite field of dentistry is comprehensive dental treatment with particular focus on cosmetic dentistry. Continuing her professional development she has completed numerous training courses in root canal therapy with the use of a microscope, cosmetic dentistry, and prosthodontics. Dr. Piechowicz attaches great importance to the constant improvement of her qualifications, as well as to the utmost precision and accuracy in her everyday practice. She has very good contact with her patients, treating each of them with care and empathy.

Abdominal cavity ultrasound preparation:
Light diet day before, recommended to do the scan 6 hours after eating, eat a little on the day of the test, drink a lot. Abstain from emptying bladder for 1-2 hours before the planned examination. The patient should make sure their bowels are empty before the scan.
