Dr Krzysztof Musialik

Dr Musialik is a consultant in Orthopaedics and Trauma surgery. He studied medicine in Poland and Italy and in 2011 obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. He attended numerous international conferences and prominent courses Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen, and currently runs his own courses in Orthopaedics for general practitioners as part of their professional and specialist training. In 2012 he completed post-graduate studies – Law in Medicine. He completed his specialisation programme in the Regional Hospital in Jastrzebie Zdroj. In 2018 and 2019 Dr Musialik worked in Glasgow Nuffield Hospital. In 2019 he was awarded the title of a specialist in Orthopaedics and Trauma surgery.

Abdominal cavity ultrasound preparation:
Light diet day before, recommended to do the scan 6 hours after eating, eat a little on the day of the test, drink a lot. Abstain from emptying bladder for 1-2 hours before the planned examination. The patient should make sure their bowels are empty before the scan.
