Dr Sławomir Kiepura

In 2002 he completed the Medical Programme at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. In 2010 he obtained the title of specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Bones and Joints.

Dr Kiepura has many years of experience in treating surgical and orthopaedic conditions in both children and adults. He has a number of certificates confirming his practical skills, including a certificate in musculoskeletal and abdominal ultrasound, hip dysplasia prevention in children, and microsurgery and surgery of the hand.
In Top Medical Clinic in London, there is a possibility of conducting a physical examination and laboratory tests in a range typical for specialist treatment. We are able to perform minor surgical procedures under local anaesthesia, such as the removal of skin lesions, excision of calluses, wedge resection of ingrown nails, etc. We also carry out minor orthopaedic procedures required in the course of osteoarthritis or post-traumatic arthritis – especially intra-articular injections (knee joint) of anti-inflammatory and/or analgesic agents.

Dr Kiepura spends a lot of time on prophylactic posture assessment, assessment of feet and gait disorders, and screening examinations for developmental dysplasia of the hip. During consultations he tries to answer any questions which the parents might have concerning a particular condition or treatment. Basic ultrasound equipment, necessary during some orthopaedic or surgical consultations, is available in the surgery and used when needed.

Currently, apart from his cooperation with Top Medical Clinic, Dr Kiepura works and operates in the Department of Paediatric Surgery of the Specialist Hospital in Krakow. It is a department set to perform a variety of surgical treatments.

In his work Dr Kiepura has tremendous appreciation for the opinions of his patients. They provide an opportunity to work on meeting patients’ expectations and better mutual understanding. Each patient is kindly asked to complete a short questionnaire after their visit.
