-- Marzena Blaszczyk Midwife
I am a qualified midwife with many years of experience. I have qualified in 1999 at Medical University of Lodz. I have also studied Ethnology at University of Lodz and was granted a Master of Social Anthropology in 2004. After I completed my education I worked in one of the hospitals in city Lodz as an anaesthetic midwife.
For last 9 years I have been working in one of central London's hospitals as a qualified midwife including 4 years as a matron. As a practising midwife with valid PIN Number I am obligated to attend mandatory trainings what help me to maintain highest standard of care.
In addition, I have completed a "Mentorhip" Course at Middlesex University which allows me to mentor student midwifes.
I have wide working experience in all areas: labour ward, antenatal clinic.
I also run antenatal classes in public hospital.
My work is my passion therefore I would like to share my knowledge and experience with future parents. I do understand how important time this is for future parents and I would like to help them to prepare during the antenatal period, labour, post-partum and provide advice about breast feeding.
